The details

Overland Expo Foundation Volunteers are stellar individuals that donate their time, energy, and expertise to the organization. Volunteers are the spokespeople for the Foundation and assist with live events and fundraising efforts at any one of four Overland Expos.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Your interests align with the Overland Expo Foundation mission and will contribute toward its goals.
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to talk with the public in a professional manner.
  • Commit to 8 hours of service per event chosen.

Live Events

  • Assist the Overland Expo Foundation booth
  • Promote raffle ticket sales and donation collections
  • Assist during the raffle
  • Pack it in, pack it out Ambassador
  • Kids’ RC Driving Course

As a volunteer for the foundation I felt valued as a person. All the foundation personnel are very welcoming and receptive to ideas and suggestions and I learned much more information about the foundation. As we manned the booth for the raffle ticket sales I was very impressed how eager folks were to stop, listen, and discuss foundation facts. The camaraderie between the volunteers was almost instant and became apparent as we spent time together on different shifts manning the booth and the different volunteer assignments. Plan on being there next year!!
